Chew chew Train!!!

Yesterday I went to the dentist and had one cusp ponty bit my tooth rebuilt: yes, we have the technology, we can rebuilt it!!! The giant injection didn’t hurt at all, and It took about 30 minutes. It is like a really tooth now, but after the local wore off it hurt so much, even more than it did before it was fixed. I took some extra strong painkillers and had a nap. It did that throbbing thing…..even little tweaks of pain within the tooth. This morning it feels OK, but I have yet to eat something hard. I ate soup, noodles and grapes yesterday. I am having brunch with Karen today and I will have a selection of salads I think : soft again!!! It cost $170 for the visit and my health insurance only pays $50. If I didn’t have insurance I could go more regularly.
I have won a prize from an author!! A signed book and a special carry bag. How exciting is that? It will have to come from the UK, but I will wait patiently.
I bought liquid bandaids yesterday. It is a small bottle of purpley liquid and foam applicators and you paint it onto the wound. Now I want to have a cut or a nick so I can use it. It was reduced from over $10 to about $4.
Two very good episodes of Stargate SG1 last night. We have almost caught up to the USA, we are in season 8!!! I am thinking that they are playing double episodes so that we can see Stargate Atlantis before it is too old. Next week the final episodes of Jeremiah are on. I haven’t watched any at all, so I will be pleased to sort them out. I don’t think there are titles so it will be a big job, one I am not looking forward to!!! It does mean I can tape Enterprise to watch the next day though, as with the new set top box I can’t record with the timer.
