A little something extra

I am extra excited as I have found that the googlemail has a 'bing' alert. I downloaded a little programme and now there is a little envelope on the taskbar at the bottom!!! I don't know what will happen but I have sent myself an email to see what does!!!
I have quizzed to see what kind of knitter I am :
You appear to be a Knitting Purist. You are an accomplished knitter producing beautiful pieces with a classic feel. You sometimes lament losing half of your local yarn shop to garish novelty yarns. Perhaps you consider fun fur scarves the bane of knitting society and prefer to steer new knitters towards the wool and cotton blends. Some might call you a bit of an elitist but you know that you've been doing this craft long enough to respect the history behind it and honor it with beautiful piece that can last a lifetime.

This is almost me, I quite like some of the new novelty yarns but I do prefer harder patterns and real wool, or I should say natural fibres. That is why I am making up a pattern of my own for a sideways jumper!! I am reading a knitting book too, I am becoming obsessed with knitting as it my wont with obsessions!!!

Here is the address for the quiz too!! Above, I am not sure if it clicky or not.
I have started to reknit Karen's jumper. I have adapted a pattern from here:

I have also finished 1 sleeve, 1 front and the back of my cardigan. Other projects I must finish include:
  1. Cushions for Karen's school
  2. My Christmas Quilt , and I only have the backing, binding and superficial quilting to go!!
  3. Karen's 'sloppy joe' needs extra length and new cuffs and neck
  4. Oh that might be all I don't feel so overwhelmed now!!!

Sadly there has been no binging of the googlemail. I must away to see why. Oh I have seen Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and it was far better than I thought. I enjoyed it a lot, apart from the 5 small children, alone, unsupervised by an adult, all under 10 and they spent most of the film running up and down the aisle. Bah humbug again.
