Oh my darling, Oh my darling, Oh my darling Madeleine!!
Today I went to see the movie The Incredibles. It was quite good, though I laughed in different places to other people. It is $9-50 for a child to go to the pictures now , that is very expensive. Then I went to Spotlight where there was an altercation of sorts. I met Cathy and her daughters and we had a lovely cup of tea. I am extremely pale today. I shall have to nap soon. The Labradors will have a present of a ball on a rope each soon. Yes, they like them , Peri doesn’t technically play, but she likes it a lot!!! On Friday the Labradors are going for a walk with Cathy and the girls: that should cure them of wanting a puppy!!!
I am going to make little chicken pincushions/decorations for Easter this week. I have glittery Easter Egg decorated material and lime green plain to co-ordinate with lime, pink and green felt for the comb, beak and tail.
Too, too tied, I must do a recipe and then sleep….
Chocolate Madeleines
2 eggs
70 g caster sugar
50 g plain flour
1 tspn baking powder
2 tbspn cocoa
60 g butter, melted
Preheat oven to 180 C (160 ff) Grease Madeleine tins ready to use. Whisk eggs and sugar, sift dry ingredients and fold through with the melted butter. 2/3 fill the Madeleine trays and bake for about 10 minutes. Turn out and cool, dust with cocoa if desired!!
